TypeWriter at International Pop Overthrow – Liverpool 2013
TypeWriter have been invited to perform at International Pop Overthrow Festival 2013 in Liverpool. We are playing at the legendary Cavern Club on 15 May and The Cavern Pub on 14 May. Timings yet to be confirmed. Will update once we have the performance times. Needless to say, we are stoked!
Congratulations to Desmond on his marriage in December. The band took a few months off but we’re back in action preparing to record an EP in March. 2013 is gonna be a busy year for us.
Patrick produced Sapporo Safaris’ debut EP, “Figures of Eight“, (released two weeks ago) and mixed Seyra’s “Send Me On / Juah” singles (released in November 2012).
Spunky Goodness @15mins!
On 7 August, Patrick & Chang Kang did a spunky, 4-songs acoustic set @15mins!
They started-off with Enemy, followed by Sunlight Takes Over & Beautiful Knows. And a rousing That Deepest Blue closed their set beautifully.
This event was in support of SCYA – to raise funds for artists participating in World Event Young Artists, in Nottingham UK.

TypeWriter At The Pigeonhole
We had a great time performing at The Pigeonhole on Saturday, 5 May 2012 with Pep Talk and Gabriel Lynch. We were all glad to see a packed crowd who were enthusiastic and supportive. Thanks to everyone who came down to the gig. Our dear friend Tim shot two videos of us – “Sunlight Takes Over” and “That Deepest Blue”. Thanks Tim!

It Was A MAAD Night!
We had a great time at MAAD last Friday at the Red Dot Design Museum. Cashew Chemists were great and we all really dig their songs and music. The crowd was definitely one of the best we’ve played to. It’s always great to see people get up and dance to the music. How we wish every gig is like this! We found this video uploaded on YouTube of us playing “That Deepest Blue”. Enjoy!

MAADSounds!9 presents! TypeWriter will be playing another gig this coming Friday 13 April @ Red Dot Design Museum. We will be coming on at 10pm, with Cashew Chemists kicking off the night an hour before us. We’ve never done Red Dot! Looking forward to this April Fever!
